Pondi Uni’s new MoU with AYUSH: Science meets Ancient Wisdom
June 9, 2025. An MoU was signed with the Directorate of AYUSH, Puducherry on Monday in the Executive Council hall in the presence of Pondicherry University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. P. Prakash Babu.
Dr. R. Sridharan, Director, AYUSH, Puducherry and Prof. Rajneesh Bhutani, Registrar i/c, Pondicherry University signed the MoU.
The MOU coordinator is Dr. V. Thillai Sekar, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, School of Life Sciences.
This MoU is one more endeavour to integrate the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) into research initiatives led by faculty and students of Pondicherry University.
Prof. S. Victor Anandkumar, Dean, lnternational Relations, concluded with the vote of thanks. He said, “This MoU is a marriage between science and ancient wisdom.”
