The Department of Sanskrit, School of Humanities, PU, celebrated Sanskrit Day on 11 October. Dr. V.S. Vishnu Potty, Vice-Chancellor, SCSVMV University was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural function. He delivered a special lecture on ‘Sanskrit Studies in the Present Education System’. The function was facilitated by Mr. D.K. Mishra, IAS, Secretary to the Lt. Governor of Puducherry and Dr. S. Pannirselvame, Dean, School of Humanities.
