Puducherry, March 13: Pondicherry University is filled with colors and happiness as it hosts the Rang de Holiya Holi Milan Party. The celebration runs for two days, wrapping up on March 14 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. Organized by Jagriti Parivar, the event brings together students, teachers, and families to celebrate unity and cultural harmony.
The event is all set to begin on March 13th at 9 PM with the traditional Holika Dahan ceremony at the Thiruvallur Stadium. This old tradition, based on the story of Prahlad and Holika, marks the victory of good over bad.

Followed by this, a Holi party will be organised on March 14th at 6 PM at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. There’ll be live music, awesome dance performances, and vibrant colors. “Holi is great because it gets people from all kinds of places together“, said a university student. “At Pondicherry University, students from all over India and even from other countries take part in the celebrations. It makes everyone feel like they belong. Events like Rang de Holiya really bring people closer and keep students busy having fun on campus,” another student remarked
The organizers plan to have safe festivity and are pushing for organic and environment-friendly colors. Safety rules have been laid down to make sure everything goes well during the event. The entire university is really excited, looking forward to a fun day full of laughter, dancing, and bright colors. Students, teachers, and staff are all invited to join in and make some great memories.
