Calicut University wins Kho-Kho tournament
Calicut University emerged champions in the South Zone Inter University Kho-Kho Tournament for Women held at Pondicherry University from Sep 27 to 30. Teams from 43 South Indian varsities participated in the tournament. Mr. Cholleti Prabhakar I.A.S, Secretary to the Govt. of Puducherry inaugurated the tournament. Addressing the participants, he said that such tournaments help instill sportsmanship among students. “Women should cash in on every opportunity that comes their way,” he added. Satya, captain of Pondicherry University team lit the torch to open the tournament.
