After igniting the Drishti Film Club with \u2018Ayothi\u2019s\u2019 fiery spirit, we settled into the gentle inward introspection with this Telugu masterpiece, where love stories unfold like letters from a small town, revealing the beauty and burdens of human connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the screening, the audience participated in the discussion led by Dr. Radhika Khanna. The students learnt how the debutant director Venkatesh Maha executed his vision under a minimal budget of 44-77 lakhs. He also cast 80 non-professional actors, most of whom are residents of Kancherapalem. This brought about unparalleled realism to the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The audience also pointed out the importance of acknowledging the consequences of our actions, which filmmakers often ignore in most mainstream cinema. The movie also questions casteism, religious divides, and honour killings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The audience left the lecture hall III of DEMMC, PU with fulfillment and maybe some altered perspectives and world views. The film made our hearts feel free, which most of us could carry forward for the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
