The second inter-state Taekwondo tournament took place on 24th December, 2013. More than fifteen colleges participated in the event. The participants of the tournament were from various colleges affiliated with Pondicherry University.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Overall Championship Trophy for boys was won by Achariya Arts and Science College. Bharathidasan Government College for Women walked away with the Overall Championship Trophy for girls.<\/span>The awards were given away by the chief guest, Mr. K. Vijayakumaran, Finance Officer, Pondicherry University. Bhagavath Singh, International Referee and Prabakaran, National Referee, both from Pondicherry Taekwondo Sports Association were also present. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The winners of this tournament are eligible to take part in the Inter-University Championships to be held at Sathyabama University, Chennai from 6th to 12th January, 2014.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
