But, the response was so pleasant.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">[soliloquy id=&#8221;2192&#8243;]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">I have been born and brought up in Pondicherry but I never had the opportunity to visit a remarkable school like the \u201cSatya Special School\u201d. Located on the East Coast Road, this school is a teaching institute for the specially abled children of the society who often fail to occupy a prominent place in our society.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2195\" style=\"width: 162px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/puinquirer.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Satya-School3.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2195\" class=\" wp-image-2195\" src=\"https:\/\/puinquirer.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Satya-School3-192x300.jpg\" alt=\"Balaji\" width=\"152\" height=\"235\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2195\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Jeeva says his name proudly as he circles around with his cycle<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">As I entered the school I had a little hesitation and dilemma thinking how I would interact with these kids. But, the response was so pleasant. The children were excited. They were full of enthusiasm and happily posed for their pictures. The teachers too joined in the photo session. They wanted me to teach the children how to operate a camera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The volunteers in Satya Special School take care of the kids with love and affection. They are mothers to these children and at the same time also a friend. It was a treat to the eyes to watch the activities and facilities offered for these children who need special attention. At Satya Special School the children are taught through supportive methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">While conversing with the teachers, we were informed about the Mobile Unit therapy that makes home visits to treat children who cannot visit the school.
