Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chandra Krishnamurthy delivering the special address<\/p><\/div>\n

Pondicherry University celebrated the 65th<\/sup> Republic Day of the nation on 26 January, 2014. Prof. (Mrs.) Chandra\u00a0<\/span>Krishnamurthy, Vice Chancellor, Pondicherry University hoisted the National Flag to mark the Republic day celebrations. This was followed by the National anthem. While addressing the gathering she reminded the social responsibilities and duties of the citizens of the nation. She marked the benevolence of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in framing the Indian constitution. She appealed to the students and scholars to be responsible for the higher education in country.<\/span><\/p>\n

University security wing assembled for the Republic Day flag hoisting in PU<\/p><\/div>\n

University security wing presented the guard of honor to the Vice Chancellor. University\u00a0<\/span>Registrar and other administrative staffs, deans and faculties from various schools, students and scholars were also present for the ceremony. The celebrations concluded with a grand breakfast served to all those who were present.<\/span><\/p>\n
